Bridlecrest Pointe
Bridlecrest Pointe sits at 16969 24 Street SW, five apartment buildings on one Bridlewood site. The development permit approves five buildings and 265 homes, and Pointe of View Developments is named on it and on every building permit under it, as applicant and as contractor. The City issued the first permit in October 2006 and closed the last in February 2010. The 2026 assessment roll carries 265 homes, the figure the permit set, and a City fire alarm permit of 2020 names Bridlecrest Pointe building 5000 at this address.
Parking runs to assigned surface stalls and titled underground ones, and storage comes with some of them. Homes carry balconies above the ground floor and patios at grade. The land runs the M-1 multi-residential district.
Five buildings, and the suite number says which
The buildings are numbered 1000 through 5000 and each suite number opens on its building. The roll splits the 265 homes as 53 in building 1000, 47 in 2000, 77 in 3000, 47 in 4000 and 41 in 5000, and four of those five figures carry a building permit of their own. Buildings 1000, 2000, 4000 and 5000 reach the third floor. Building 3000 reaches the fourth and is the largest of the five. The listing feed files building 1000’s homes under a second civic address, 8 Bridlecrest Drive SW, and the other four buildings under 16969 24 Street SW.
What is around it
The site takes the ground between 24 Street SW and Bridlecrest Drive SW at the southwest edge of the city. Two commercial buildings the City permitted in 2004 at 2525 and 2577 Bridlecrest Way SW are 140 metres northeast, which is the nearest retail on foot. Somerset and Bridlewood station is three and a half kilometres east on the Red Line, open since June 2004, and Stoney Trail runs south of the community with Spruce Meadows three and a half kilometres beyond it. Bridlewood went up fast, and the 2026 assessment roll dates 3,503 of its 4,798 parcels to the 2000s.
