Citadel Pointe

Citadel Pointe sits at 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 Citadel Meadow Point NW, four apartment buildings on one Citadel site. Pointe of View Developments is named on all four building permits, as applicant and as contractor. The City issued the first two in January 2002 and closed the last two in April 2004. The roll and the permits agree at 224 homes, split 52 in building 1000, 50 in 2000, 58 in 3000 and 64 in 4000, and suite numbering reaches the third floor in each.

Underground parking is titled and heated, and surface stalls sit on the lot. Homes carry balconies on the upper floors and patios at grade. The land runs the M-C1 multi-residential district.

Townhomes on the street west

Citadel Point NW, one street west of the apartment buildings, carries 233 townhomes on permits of their own. The Stonecroft Group built them across 2002 and 2003 and put an amenity building at 40 Citadel Point NW, closed in September 2003. That land runs M-CG where the apartment site runs M-C1, and the two developments were approved separately. Listings on both streets come back under the Citadel Pointe name, so the civic address on a listing is what says which of the two it belongs to.

What is around it

Citadel Park School holds a City community park 760 metres east of the buildings. Crowfoot station is three kilometres southwest on the Red Line, open since 2009, and Calgary Transit route 138 runs the gap, with the shopping at Crowfoot Crossing beside the platform in Arbour Lake. Citadel itself went up in two waves, and the 2026 assessment roll dates 2,014 of its 3,860 parcels to the 1990s and 1,793 to the 2000s, which puts these four buildings in the second wave.
