Lighthouse Landing
Lighthouse Landing sits on four streets in Country Hills Village, Country Village Gate, Lane, Manor and Park NE, and it holds five apartment buildings with a run of townhouse blocks around them. Cardel is named as applicant or contractor on all five apartment permits and on many of the townhouse blocks, with Abugov Kaspar on the others. The 2026 assessment roll carries 304 apartment homes and 179 townhomes across the four streets, 483 in all, which is the figure the building permits set between them. Cardel's own record puts the development at 511 condos and townhomes.
The apartment buildings run four floors with elevators. Parking is titled and heated, in an underground parkade with storage lockers beside the stalls, and the balconies carry gas lines. The land runs Direct Control.
Five buildings, finished across six years
Building 1000 is 5 Country Village Park NE at 48 homes, closed in September 2007, and building 2000 is 43 Country Village Lane NE at 56, closed the same month. Building 5000 is 69 Country Village Manor NE at 56, closed in February 2009. Building 4000 is 31 Country Village Manor NE at 72, closed in September 2010, and building 3000 is 10 Country Village Park NE at 72, closed in April 2013. The townhouse blocks went up between 2007 and 2014. Cardel describes the architecture as a Cape Cod theme and puts a lighthouse of three and a half storeys in the middle of it.
What is around it
Country Hills Pond is the water the buildings face and the pathway network runs around it. VIVO for Healthier Generations is 720 metres west at 11950 Country Village Link NE, a recreation site the City dates to 2004, and the Country Hills Library is inside it. Country Hills Boulevard is the road in and the road out. No CTrain platform comes near this part of the city, and the closest is Martindale, nearly eight kilometres southeast. The community went up in one decade, with 2,193 of its 2,492 assessed parcels dating to the 2000s.
