Nuera

Nuera stands at 211 13 Avenue SE, on the Victoria Park side of the Beltline. It reaches 120.4 metres and finished in 2010. Cove Properties developed it and S2 Architecture designed it, with David Symons named as the architect on the pair.

The parkade is underground and titled, and it carries visitor stalls. Residents share a fitness centre and a bike room with a repair station, and a concierge desk and security staff work the building.

Nuera and Alura

Nuera has a twin. Alura went up beside it at 1320 1 Street SE, reaching 110.4 metres, and it finished in 2014, four years behind. The two were drawn as mirror images of each other and they read as one project from the street. Storey counts for Nuera do not settle, running 33, 34, and 36 across three sources, so we have used the height instead, which is stable.

What sits around it

Victoria Park was its own community from 1914 until the Beltline absorbed it in 2003. The Victoria Park and Stampede station sits on the Red Line right beside the building, and the city rebuilt that station in 2024 as part of the works around Stampede Park.

The BMO Centre expansion opened at Stampede Park in June 2024, which made it the largest convention facility in western Canada and gave the Culture + Entertainment District taking shape across east Victoria Park its anchor. Stampede Park itself runs more than a thousand events a year beyond the ten days of the Stampede in July. Central Memorial Park and the Memorial Park Library, a National Historic Site since 2018, sit west along 12 Avenue, and 17 Avenue is a few blocks south.

As of December 2025, Nuera did not permit short-term rentals. Confirm the current position with the condominium corporation before writing an offer.
