Orchard Sky
Orchard Sky is seven apartment buildings at 302 Skyview Ranch Drive NE, in Skyview Ranch. NORR Architects Engineers Planners is the applicant on the development permit, which the City released in October 2014 for 423 homes in seven buildings, to be built in ten phases, on land it records as M-1. Truman Homes 1995 is the applicant or the contractor on six of the seven building permits the City's open data returns for the address, and four of the seven name Orchard Sky in their descriptions.
The City issued the seven between October 2014 and April 2015 and closed them between October 2015 and June 2016, and they carry 391 homes between them. The 2026 assessment roll counts 423 homes at the address, the figure on the development permit. The City describes M-1 as a multi-residential designation in the developing area, primarily for apartment buildings of three and four storeys.
Parking and storage
Eight listing brokerages describe a titled parking stall, underground in seven of them, and four a storage locker or unit. In April 2024 the City released a development permit at the address for an exterior renovation adding canopies.
What is around it
Saddletowne station on the Blue Line is about 3.8 kilometres south, and Saddletowne Library about 4.5 kilometres south. Cityscape's boundary is about 770 metres from the buildings and Cornerstone's about 950. Of Skyview Ranch's assessment accounts on the 2026 roll, 5,019 date to the 2010s and 1,194 to the 2020s.
