Elboya

The ridge streets above the east bank of the Elbow.

Elboya runs from the escarpment above the Elbow east to Macleod Trail, with 50 Avenue SW as its southern line. The first streets went in through the 1950s, and the community has been rebuilding lot by lot since, so Brunswick Avenue and Crescent Boulevard read both eras in one block. Elboya School anchors the middle, and Britannia Plaza holds the corner at Elbow Drive and 49 Avenue. The pathway along the river runs below the ridge.
