Evergreen

Genstar's community on the south side of Fish Creek Park, begun in 1999 beside an older Evergreen Estates.

Evergreen sits in the city's southwest on the south side of Fish Creek Provincial Park, with 162 Avenue SW on its south and James McKevitt Road SW and Evergreen Street SW on its east, and Alpine Park lies across its west line. The City adopted the Midnapore III Community Plan, which laid out a new community north of 162 Avenue beside an older Evergreen Estates, on April 14 1997, and the City's records put the first Evergreen phase with Genstar Development Company in August 1999. The plan asks for public access and views into Fish Creek Provincial Park along the top of the escarpment.
