Meadowlark Park

Two hundred and eighty-one houses, one grid, and a shopping centre for a neighbour.

Meadowlark Park sits between 58 Avenue and Glenmore Trail, with Elbow Drive on one side and Macleod Trail on the other. Fifth Street divides it. West of that line the community is residential on curving streets, and east of it the land is commercial and Chinook Centre fills nearly all of it. The houses are postwar, 255 of the 281 residential parcels dating from the 1950s, and they sit on lots running near 6,360 square feet under a single low-density land use district. Eighteen homes have been built here since 2010. The community association keeps a hall and a winter rink on 58 Avenue.
