North Glenmore Park

Late-fifties houses on the north shore of the reservoir, with the Weaselhead at the west end.

The land was annexed in 1958 and North Glenmore Park was established as a subdivision in 1959, on the north shore of the Glenmore Reservoir. The community runs from 50 Avenue down to the water with Crowchild Trail on the west and Glenmore Athletic Park and the golf courses on the east. North Glenmore Park covers 84 hectares along the shore and carries pathways, tennis courts, an ice trail and both the Calgary Canoe Club and the Calgary Rowing Club. Detached houses on generous lots are almost the whole stock, and the community's retail is a single plaza at 54 Avenue and Crowchild Trail.
