Rosemont
Curving streets on a slope, and every name but one begins with Rose.
Rosemont sits between Northmount Drive and 23 Avenue NW, with 14 Street on the west and Cambrian Drive on the east. Half a square kilometre on a slope, laid out in 1958 on curving streets carrying names rather than numbers, with Confederation Park along the southern edge. The higher streets look south over the city and west at the mountains. Of 445 residential parcels on the City's roll, 334 date from the 1950s and 53 from the 1960s, and forty-two have been built since 2010. Rosemont School sits mid-community on Rosevale Drive, and the community association has kept its hall on 10 Street since 1960.
