Saddle Ridge

The Blue Line's northeast end, on ground speculators parcelled out in the 1912 land boom.

Saddle Ridge sits in the city's northeast between Airport Trail and 96 Avenue on the north, Stoney Trail on the east, 80 Avenue on the south and Metis Trail on the west, and Saddletowne Station, the last stop on the Blue Line's northeast leg, is inside the boundary. The community association's own history starts the story in 1912, and the City's 2026 assessment roll dates more than nine in ten of today's residential parcels to the years since 2000. Savanna Bazaar, on 88 Avenue, went up as a centre of independently owned shops.
