Scarboro/Sunalta West

The half of Scarboro west of Crowchild, on wide postwar lots.

Scarboro/Sunalta West sits between Crowchild Trail and 24 Street SW, with Bow Trail on the north and 17 Avenue on the south. Crowchild separated it from Scarboro proper, and the City records the two as separate communities while both the Scarboro and Shaganappi associations count this ground as theirs. The 164 residential parcels on the City's roll run to a median lot near 7,653 square feet, with 125 of them built in the 1950s and 18 since 2010. Every named street here begins with S. Oliver Quarry Park closes the northern end, with a City off-leash area and a pathway down to the Bow.
