New listings eased 15.2% from a year earlier to 3,409 and sales eased 12.8% to 1,881, a sales to new listings ratio of 55.2%. Inventory added 4.7% to 5,395 units. The total residential benchmark price eased 4.2% from a year earlier to $565,600, and days on market lengthened to 35 from 29 a year earlier.

The benchmark home
The benchmark detached home for the city recorded 1,410 square feet above ground on a 4,897 square foot lot, built in 1992. It recorded three bedrooms above ground with two full bathrooms and one half bathroom. In the City Centre the benchmark detached home recorded 1,257 square feet above ground on a 5,252 square foot lot, built in 1952.
