Copperwood
Copperwood runs along Hemlock Crescent SW in Spruce Cliff, at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 14 and 24 Hemlock Crescent SW. It went up in phases over eleven years. Sandlewood Developments is the contractor on the first apartment permit, filed for 24 Hemlock Crescent SW in October 2000 and closed in February 2003, and GGA Architecture is the applicant on three of the four new-build permits. The land runs M-C2 on the northern addresses and DC at 24.
The four new-build permits carry 480 homes between them. Sixty-six at 24 Hemlock Crescent SW closed in 2003, 124 at 14 in 2007, 198 at 2 in 2008, and 92 more at 24 in 2011. That 198-home permit covers the five civic numbers 2 through 10, which the 2026 assessment roll counts at 196 homes, and it is why a Copperwood address can carry any of them.
The clubhouse
The City permitted a sales and amenity building at 24 Hemlock Crescent SW in August 2000 and closed it in April 2003. Two independent building registers name a Copperwood clubhouse today and agree on a fitness centre, a guest suite, a party and recreation room, a car wash, and visitor parking alongside secured parking. Both also carry bike storage.
