Waterford of Erlton
Waterford of Erlton is four buildings in Erlton, at 2411 and 2419 Erlton Road SW and at 2416 and 2422 Erlton Street SW. A City permit from 2023 names all four in one line, Waterford A, B, C and D. BKDI Architects filed the permits through the whole build, and Statesman is the applicant and the contractor named on a 2002 alteration at 2419. The assessment roll carries 196 homes across the four addresses, forty-five, forty-seven, fifty and fifty-four, and puts five levels on each building.
The development permits run in phases from September 1997, an apartment building first, then forty-five homes approved in 1998 and fifty in 2001. Two of the four buildings date to 1998 on the assessment roll and two to 2003.
What is around it
Erlton Park is a block south and Mok'nstsis Park a little past it toward the water, its name the Blackfoot word for elbow. The Elbow pathway runs the western edge of the community and Macleod Trail walls the east. Lindsay Park holds the river bend north with the MNP Community and Sport Centre under its roof, open since 1983 and carrying that name since May 2022. Erlton and Stampede station opened on the Red Line in 1981.
