Cornerstone
The northeast corner inside the ring road, planned in 2014 and launched in 2016.
Cornerstone sits in the city's far northeast. Stoney Trail wraps its north and east sides, and 96 Avenue NE and 60 Street NE close the south and the west. The City approved the Cornerstone Area Structure Plan in September 2014, when it called the land one of the last remaining undeveloped areas inside the ring road, and Walton launched the community in the fall of 2016. Anthem, which the City names as the community developer, has managed its development since 2018. The Anderson Wetland, which the City considers an Environmentally Significant Area, lies inside the regional park planned for its northeast edge.
